Airplanes, trains and automobiles.

I prefer trains to planes.  I have not been on a plane since June 2017, and I am not looking forward to flying next month. My sister Robin lives in Paris, France. When your sister lives in Paris, you should go to Paris, but it requires flying. I did investigate a trans-Atlantic cruise, but I don’t do cruises. So, fly I must if I were going.

In September I am flying to Santa Barbara, CA for BFF Michelle’s daughter’s wedding. I was with Michelle when she met the baby Dad, and there when Marina was born, so I look forward to meeting her soon to be husband. Santa Barbara is also a beautiful place, and the wedding will be beautiful as well.

I prefer to drive and tow my house behind me, that way I don’t have to pack a suitcase. My cross-country tour visiting friends and family last year was great. I call it my visit everyone you have ever known whether they want to see you or not. It makes it easy when you bring your house with you, and you aren’t asking to stay with them.

Beam me up Scotty!  Anything to avoid flying.

I look forward to campground hosting at First Landing, Virginia Beach, VA.  Come and visit (9/15/2023-10/31/2023). Florida for the winter, and who knows what is next.
Certainly not me.

Stay tuned.

Now that I have twice verified I am not a robot, I forgot what I was going to say. It could be that when flying, pretend you are on a Greyhound Bus. It is much the same but faster.

    Xoxox, dear Alison

Thats a long time without getting on a plane! Fabio is a delightful young man. We had the pleasure if hosting the two love birds for lunch last month. We had a wonderful time and lots of laughs.

We only have a few days of overlap while in Virginia Beach. Let’s do lunch on the beach. Happily, the dog rules are relaxed after Labor Day. We will be staying a short distance from First Landing.

Give Marina and Fabio a big hug for us and have a nice flight!
